Regardless of that I found myself unable to launch the program yesterday to quickly rip an SD DVD to an MKV on my HDD so that I could stream it to another device. MKVToolNix is a set of tools to create, alter and inspect Matroska files under. the big problem with this though is that you cant really use the search as 'too old' has 2 words of 3 letters each and any words with 3 or less letters get ignored by the search in here apparently. Hi, I use MakeMKV on a headless Debian system with a purchased license. Unfortunately, the author has failed to release an update before the expiration which is a serious annoyance. Just downloaded MakeMKV for the first time on this machine this morning. I believe that the whole point of the expiration is to not have people using really old beta versions especially after the product is out of beta testing. ![]()
